Ways in which I observe the world, and create with intention

Myco Rising

This past weekend I had the pleasure of bringing art with Black Prism to the Mushroom Farm, a property down in Pescadero, CA where a group of folks are bringing the consciousness of festival culture to a sustainable project.

We arrived at night, setting up our art in a room next to the tea lounge indoors.

I was able to sit in on some talks on nutrition and participate in an innoculation workshop! As a group, we drilled into oak hardwood logs, tapping mushroom plug spawns (we had shiitake, pearl oyster, and blue oyster) into the holes we created, and then sealing it with beeswax.

We got to enjoy live music around a campfire, dancing, live painting, and shared laughs with new friends.
